Responsible for the development and implementation of programs for ABL members that would increase access to business development opportunities and the expansion of business relationships.

Business Opportunity Breakfast – Corporations meet to           share business opportunity information with ABL members.

 

 

 

 

Responsible for the development of continuing education programs to include seminars and training based on members’ needs.  

Topics range from:
human resources and personnel issues to bidding.

 

 

Responsible for planning and implementing programs and events designed to recruit and retain members.  
 
The committee recommends and evaluates products and
services, which provide direct enhancements and tangible benefits to the membership.
 
Membership Recruitment –
Identify, solicit and recruit new members.  
All programs and activities support this effort.
 
Member Services –
Evaluate and recommend products and services which provide direct enhancements and tangible benefits of membership; communicate and promote member services.

 

Monitor and coordinate legislative and governmental affairs of concern to constituent body of the organization. Create and maintain a legislative and governmental awareness of ABL, its programs and activities.

Annual DC Fly-In – Three day trip to the nation’s capital to meet with Georgia’s congressional delegation and department heads of various federal agencies to discuss legislative matters and business opportunities.

 

Responsible for the development and implementation of action plans that increase the public’s awareness of the League’s activities, projects, and programs.

This committee develops and initiates campaigns that:
 Promotes all ABL programs and events
 Increases awareness of the ABL
 

 

Responsible for developing and initiating programs and services that educate members about technology usage and opportunities, while increasing the Atlanta community’s awareness of the League’s efforts that support community technology initiatives.

Responsible for uniting the existing ABL structure to a new wave of younger entrepreneurs through various programming that gives added attention to their needs. 
 
The ABL Bridge consists of young entrepreneurs and professionals ages 21 to 40. 
 
•Brings together young professionals and those who have already blazed the trail for a unified exchange of ideas and resources
•Creates a stronger presence of younger professionals actively engaged in the Atlanta  Business League
