The Atlanta Braves
The Atlanta Braves are the June 2008 ABL Sponsor of the Month due to their support of the Atlanta Business League (ABL) programs and initiatives. ABL and the Atlanta Braves have maintained a win-win relationship over the years. The Atlanta Braves sought the input of the Atlanta Business League in the 90’s when they began to create a format for their initial supplier diversity program. As a result, ABL members and other minority business owners are benefiting from their continuous effort to increase MBE participation.
To support the League’s youth education and training initiatives, the Atlanta Braves hosts our students participating in the Student Business Shadow Project during the summer program and provides insight for them in the sports venue and service industry. Additionally, the Atlanta Braves works closely with the League in membership recruitment efforts as a sponsor and active participant in the effort.
We salute Mike Plant and Sabrina Jenkins for their willingness to become actively involved with the Atlanta Business League and for working to bring value to the communities they serve.
