The ABL CARES Initiative

ABL CARES is one of the most significant undertakings of the organization. It serves as a coordinated effort to channel the financial and volunteer resources of ABL members and their associates to benefit the Atlanta metro community. Instituted in 2004, its overall purpose is to support organizations that require help meeting the social, educational and welfare needs of the community. Beneficiaries of the ABL Cares program to-date include:

  • Atlanta Victim Assistance
  • Crossroads Community Ministries
  • Displaced Hurricane Katrina victims
  • Georgia Center for Child Advocacy
  • HBCU Scholarships for student affected by Hurricane Katrina
  • Hosea Feed The Hungry and the Homeless
  • Jean Childs Young Middle School Jazz Ensemble 
  • National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame
  • North Clayton High School Booster Club
